🎀 We are proud to announce that Fairfield Forum

🎀 We are proud to announce that Fairfield Forum has partnered with BreastScreen NSW to bring essential breast cancer screening services directly to our community. The BreastScreen NSW mobile screening van is now stationed behind Aldi Supermarket on Station Street, where it will remain for the next 16 weeks, screening over 2,500 women. 🎀

🗓️ Monday to Friday and selected Saturdays, operating from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm. Staff will be on-site starting at 8:00 am to assist you.

🩺 13 20 50, book online, or drop in for assistance. Screenings are every 10 to 15 minutes, with a maximum of 48 clients per day. Remember, all screening and assessment are free and government-funded—no Medicare details are required.

Eligibility: Women aged 50 to 74 and Aboriginal women aged 40 to 74 are encouraged to attend. Women aged 40 and above are also eligible.

Screenings have already begun and will continue until Friday, 15 November 2024. This vital service is crucial for the early detection of breast cancer, particularly for the vulnerable women in our community who may not have the opportunity to attend screenings otherwise.

We are honoured to have received a ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ from BreastScreen NSW, recognizing Fairfield Forum’s ongoing support. Together, we are helping to ensure that our community has access to these life-saving services.
